Codex applies the latest Ethereum research to fulfill the oldest and most ambitious dream in crypto: an universal electronic cash system.
Stablecoins today can only serve the most extreme edge cases of global finance: countries with hyperinflating currencies, the most difficult remittance corridors, the corporates most desperate for faster working capital cycles.
Codex’s mission is to take stablecoins from serving edge cases to serving the mainstream. Our first product will be the world’s first L2 focused solely on stablecoin finance.
What you’ll do
As an early team member, you’ll work closely with the co-founders to build the stablecoin infrastructure of the future. You’ll:
- Formulate and execute on Codex’s global licensing strategy
- Ensure Codex’ compliance with local and international regulation, including financial / crypto regulations, and data protection laws
- Coordinate with outside counsel to ensure alignment with Codex’s objectives and timelines
- Advise on the legal implications affecting product development and go-to-market strategies, ensuring compliance is integrated into Codex’s products and market approach
What we’re looking for
- 5-15 years of PQE post law-school
- At least 4 years at a top law firm
- Work experience in either crypto or payments industries.
- If no experience in crypto, at least have strong interest in crypto, stablecoins, L2s, and ability to ramp quickly
- Appetite for equity and token risk
